We have cross country courses from Starter level to Intermediate level including 2 water jumps, banks and ditches. Our boarders include all types and ages of riders from strictly pleasure to upper level competition riders. We have a division of the United States Pony Club that meets here.

Tracy Hewlett

Tracy & Bob HewlettTracy grew up riding outside of Rochester, NY and was an active member of the Mendon Pony Club. She competed her off the track thoroughbred through Prelim before heading off to college at Cornell University and then Texas A & M for graduate school. It was there that she got back into horse ownership and competition and met her husband. Together they moved on to Benton, LA and eventually purchased the land for the start of Holly Hill Farm. Tracy’s horse hobby soon became a full time job of farm management and schooling show, clinic and recognized horse trials organization as well as training, breeding and sales. Her expertise is in equine nutrition, so that is a priority at the horse farm along with daily turn-out, safe fencing, and good footing.

Bobby Hewlett

Bobby grew up in Houma and Natchitoches, LA and attended veterinary school at Texas A & M. Bobby had the desire to specialize in horses from the beginning and has enjoyed sport horse medicine as well as breeding. He has been the team veterinarian for the Area V Young Rider Championship teams for several years. Bobby rode as a child on his grandmother’s ranch in Meridian, Texas and then started riding English with Tracy at Texas A & M. He competed through Prelim on his wonderful mount, Darby. He still tries to find time to ride occasionally and hardly ever misses riding in a Karen O’ Connor clinic at the farm. The boarders enjoy having a vet on the property and he is always willing to answer a question or check out a problem.
